Draft Infrastructure & Asset Management Plan 2026/35
The District Council of Karoonda East Murray has prepared a Draft Infrastructure & Asset Management Plan 2026-2035.
The plan outlines how Council will manage, maintain and renew key infrastructure assets across our district over the next 10 years. These assets support the services our community relies on every day.
We invite community members to review the draft plan and provide feedback before it is finalised.
What is the Infrastructure & Asset Management Plan?
The Infrastructure & Asset Management Plan helps Council plan for the long-term maintenance, renewal and replacement of infrastructure assets in a financially sustainable way. It identifies the services provided by these assets, the expected levels of service, and the funding required to support them over time.
The plan works alongside Council's Long-Term Financial Plan, Annual Business Plan & Budget, Strategic Management Plan and Community Vision 2040.
What the Plan Covers
The draft plan includes Council's major infrastructure assets, including:
- Sealed roads
- Unsealed roads
- Buildings and structures
- Plant and equipment
- Community Wastewater Management System (CWMS)

How your feedback will inform Council's decision
Council has prepared the Draft Infrastructure & Asset Management Plan 2026-2035 to guide how community infrastructure and assets are managed, maintained and renewed over the next 10 years.
The Plan aims to ensure Council's assets continue to support the needs of our community while being managed in a sustainable and financially responsible way.
Council is inviting residents, ratepayers and community members to review the Draft Plan and provide feedback. Your feedback will help Council understand whether the Draft Plan reflects community priorities and identify any changes that should be considered.
All feedback received during the consultation period will be reviewed and considered before a final version of the Plan is presented to Council for adoption.
