Lifeguards Needed - Karoonda Swimming Pool

Council is seeking expressions of interest to be part of the lifeguard team for the 2026/27 season at the Karoonda Swimming Pool.
Training Dates:
Full Qualification Training: 2-day course - DATES TBC (Likely a Saturday and Sunday in October)
Refresher Training: 1 day course - DATE TBC (Likely a Sunday in October) (for those who have already completed lifeguard training within the last 15 months)
All training will be held at the Karoonda Swimming Pool.
Pre-requisite:
Participants must hold a current HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certificate prior to the course. Note: While many teachers may hold HLTAID012 (First Aid in an education and care setting), it is essential that the HLTAID011 unit is current (within 3 years of issue).
