Community Survey Results: What You Told Us

Published 13th March 2026

Council recently undertook the “Shape the District: Community Survey” to better understand how our community feels about key areas such as roads, parks and reserves, customer service, communication and engagement, and Council’s overall performance and operations.

Community feedback plays an important role in guiding Council decision‑making. The survey provided residents and ratepayers with an opportunity to share their views, priorities and ideas to help shape future planning and service delivery across the district.

To share the outcomes, we’ve created an infographic snapshot highlighting what matters most to the community — including key concerns, requested improvements, customer service experiences, communication preferences and future priorities.

The results reflect feedback gathered over a six‑week community engagement period.

For those interested in more detail, the full survey results are available in the 17 February 2026 Council Agenda, which you can view here.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate. Council’s Administration team is now considering the feedback to help inform future planning, decision‑making and service delivery.
