Located on Stokes Road, Karoonda, providing local emergency medical assistance.
Country Fire Service (CFS)
CFS brigades operate across the district in Karoonda, Wynarka, Halidon, Galga, Bowhill, and Kulkami/Marama, supporting fire response and community safety.
South Australia Police (SAPOL)
A resident police officer is based on Peake Street, Karoonda, providing local policing and community support.

Karoonda East Murray Bushfire Safer Place
Designated location available for community refuge during bushfire emergencies.
