Our Location

The District Council of Karoonda East Murray is situated in the heart of South Australia's Murraylands region, approximately 150 km east of Adelaide. Our district shares boundaries with neighbouring councils including the Coorong District Council and Southern Mallee District Council to the south, District Council of Loxton Waikerie to the northeast, Mid Murray Council to the northwest, and the Rural City of Murray Bridge to the west.

Karoonda East Murray falls within the Federal Electorate of Barker and the State Electorate of Chaffey, reflecting its strong connection to regional South Australia.
