Council Welcomes Peter Bond

Peter Bond has commenced working with Council this week to temporarily assume the role of acting CEO whilst incumbent CEO, Martin Borgas is on extended personal leave.
Peter comes to us with vast Local Government experience including past positions as former CEO of the Rural City of Murray Bridge and CEO of the Murraylands and Riverland Local Government Association.
Peter says, "What a privilege it is to come to Karoonda as acting CEO whilst Martin is on extended leave. It's almost like returning to my second home being back in the Murraylands where I have spent much of my working life."

Council has appointed Peter to the acting role for an interim period to 1 May 2024
