IMPAC

Promoting healthy lifestyles and enhancing wellbeing are at the heart of a new initiative in the Murraylands, designed to uplift the quality of life through family-focused programs and resilience-building activities.

The Integrated Murraylands Physical Activity Committee (IMPAC) is supporting Sport and Recreation Field Officer Craig Kempe in rolling out a health program — Strength For Life — across five local Councils.

These IMPAC programswill be introduced in collaboration with the Coorong District Council, the District Council of Karoonda East Murray, Mid Murray Council, Southern Mallee District Council, and The Rural City of Murray Bridge. This collaborative approach allows the Murraylands to efficiently combine resources, leading to significant health improvements for the community.

Stay informed by subscribing to the IMPAC Newsletter or by following IMPAC on Facebook.

These programs are proudly supported by the South Australian Government Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing, along with COTA. Previous initiatives led by IMPAC include Healthy Murraylands, BeActive, and The StarClub Program.
