Diversifying through Drought - decision making tips and tools to analyse opportunities for your farm business.

James Hillcoat and Rebekah Starick of Pinion advisory will provide a 3 hour session to farmers on alternative opportunities and diversifying on farm.

Topics to be delivered will include

  • Identify & consider opportunities for your farm business
  • Tools to evaluate what will work on your farm
  • Strategic decisions and the importance of depth of thinking

About the presenters -

JAMES HILLCOAT

James is team leader of the farm business management services area of Pinion Advisory, which includes advisory boards and benchmarking oversight. He possesses a wide array of technical skills in farm business management (broadacre and mixed farm enterprise) as well as grain marketing, including derivative based advice.

James has experience in a multitude of roles, including project management of both internal and external projects and programs. This has included experience in workshop delivery and group facilitation across a wide range of geographic areas and technical topics.

REBEKAH STARICK

Rebekah is an agribusiness consultant working across the grain marketing and farm business management teams within Pinion Advisory. In this position, she works with the grain marketing team across business planning, benchmarking and brokering, linking business into marketing decisions.

Rebekah considers herself a deep generalist with experiences to draw on across commodities, industries and groups of people with my experiences in advocacy, pork, wine, grain and working with grower groups all beneficial to working within projects.

This is a free event, BBQ dinner and drinks will be provided.
